Their practice creates playful, decolonised spaces through worldbuilding, storytelling and collaborative making, they create environments that feel part open studio, part community lounge and part strange little portal

Haus of Haututu presents, Cryptid Cribs: We are a Takatāpui run Art Collective based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Our soul purpose is to create and hold decolonized art spaces where creatures from our Queer and BIPOC community can feel free to express their true selves. Given our current political climate and the rising homophobia/disregard for queer and indigenous bodies, we have made it our mission to give our tangata spaces for them to thrive, explore and play.
