As part of the 2014 Fringe Festival, this theatre production made innovative use of a large vacant retail space, creating an urban adventure that grew from the space's walls and aimed to add fresh magic in the city. The collaboration brought together students, staff and graduates from Victoria University, Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School, Long Cloud Youth Theatre and was produced by Bright Orange Walls.  "Rather than the traditional Athenian forest," wrote critic Hannah Smith, "Bright Orange Walls' A Midsummer Night's Dream is set in the urban jungle. The lower ground floor of the old Baby Factory premises has been transformed. Swathes of white paper drape from ceiling to floor, festoons of coloured bulbs provide a carnival atmosphere."
