The Great Marble Race

Masterton District Council Library and Connecting Communities Wairarapa.

Property partner: Masterton Lands Trust.

7 Church Street. 25 July – 29 September 2017

Tuesdays-Thursdays 3-5pm.

Come work together to build a Marble Run using recycled materials, your ideas and imagination. The Great Marble Run brings building participation for children into the Masterton CBD in the most fun and recyclable of ways! The project runs in a vacant Church Street space provided by the Masterton Lands Trust and is open to all - the project has different aspects allowing children will be able to contribute and be involved regardless of their skills and knowledge. There will be also be an education focus engagement for children from Years 3 to 6 in hands-on making, problem solving, creativity, the application of STEM principles.

Children are welcome to attend any or all days after school, but do need to bring a signed permission slip from a caregiver.
